This year JICC teamed up with Grace Church from New York. Jeff Sandwick, Brian Horne and Ruben Guerrero (who would have known that this would be the last trip together for this trio). We traveled seven hours down a heavily rutted dusty gravel road(did I say road?) to the northwestern tip of Nicaragua to a place called Potosi. Grace Church provided a bevy of dedicated workers (40+). This was the largest team to make a remote trip that I have ever seen. During the 5 days in Potosi a church foundation was laid and all of the block walls were erected.
Louie Costa and his son pulled around 60 teeth, hundreds of prescriptions were filled by several pharmacist.
